Built in 1976 by the local Abdalla Family, the center has thrived through time with its strong local presence and central location. As the center enters into a new decade, investing in its future is a priority not only for tenants, but for the community that has supported it for years, making the center a family tradition in Lafayette.

In late 2019, On The Boulevard Shopping Center entered into a full-scale renovation phase with a focus on providing a bright, clean and well lit shopping experience for its guests. A fresh paint job gave the center a more inviting atmosphere and open feel. New lighting systems are being added to provide a more well lit parking lot and to set mood the mood for varying seasonal and holiday changes. All new landscaping along with improved parking space visibility also topped the list in the pursuit for guest comfort.
